Technical drafting essentials

The book was originally written to provide a text in the technical field that would present the basic fundamentals of engineering drafting in accordance with sound pedagogy. One objective was to create a nearly self-teaching text presenting the essential information on the theory and conventions of projection and dimensioning in accordance with up-to-date industrial practices. With the student kept constantly in mind, care was taken to explain fully all the more common difficulties in theory and practice. Some of the material has now been rewritten for greater clarity. Thus the teacher will not have to give repeated explanations on some small item that can just as well be presented on the printed page
