Researching on Strong Texture Microstructure Treatment of the JIS G4051 S45C Small Diameter Rolled Steel

Strong texture microstructure of JIS S45C rolled steel is disadvantage for cutting process. To improve the mechancial properties during the cutting process, heat treatment to remove the strong texture should be done. The experimented results at the heat treatment facilities and laboratories show that the texture seems to remain by the common crystallization annealing process.
