The rapid growth of the electricity system in the light of a country's economic development has led to an increase in the number of transmission lines operating at different voltage levels and the total length of it. Thus, the incident on the transmission line is unavoidable. In this paper, I am referring to the application of wavelet transform for the identification and positioning of short circuits on the transmission line. high voltage. In that, the voltage waves and currents on the line are simulated by the Matlab simulink. I used the Wavelet transform with the RBF neural network to find out where the short circuit occurred. To evaluate the applicability of the proposed method, I applied the proposed method for a line consisting of two generators working in parallel.
