Innovative Detectors for Supercolliders: Proceedings of the Workshop of the INFN ELOISATRON

The primary aim of this Workshop, conducted in a stimulating manner by the 29 leading detector scientists who greatly contributed to the scientific program, was to promote wide discussions on the consequences raised by collider at the extreme limits of energy and luminosity on detector instrumentation. In view of the very high rates and anticipated harsh radiation environment, present detectors will suffer performance degradation. Therefore advanced technological solutions will be mandatory to exploit the physics opportunities offered by the future generation of Super colliders.
