Improving working postures and increasing productivity by re-designing work station and layout

Sustainable development is one of the most important key strategies in all businesses. A business, in order to progress sustainably, has to have enough capacity as well as productivity to meet customers' requirements throughout different periods of time. Besides, human resource is a vital factor which has to be cared about by all employees to ensure a good working environment. This paper presents a case studying about how to use storage space effectively and reduce unnecessary travel distance by applying storage/retrieval locations algorithm.
