Engineering fundamentals: an introduction to engineering

This book is organized into six parts and twenty chapters. Each chapter begins by stating its objectives and concludes by summarizing what the student should have gained from stydying the chapter. I have included enough material for two semester-long courses. The reason for this approach is to give the instructor sufficient materials and the flexibility to choose specific topics to meet his or her needs. Relevant, everyday examples with which students can easily associate are provided in every chapter. Each chapter includes many hands on problems, requiring the student to gather and analyze information.
