Brittleness of high-performance steel-fiber-reinforced concretes under compression with their size effects

This paper addresses the brittleness of high-performance steel-fiber-reinforced concretes (HP-SFRCs) under compression by mean of Weibull modulus, which characterizes the defect distribution in the materials. The sizes of compressive specimens were used as follows: 70.7×70.7×70.7, 100×100×100, 150×150×150 mm 3 (cubes) and Ø100×200, 150×300 mm 3 (cylinders).
